ABOUT ME
Hi, I am Malin. I am Swedish and am a qualified Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist in Cobham, Surrey. I have always led an active lifestyle enjoying the outdoors for running and horse riding as well as taking my dog for long walks in the woods. I am keen to keep fit and healthy as well as having regular massage treatments to prevent injury. My passion is to to help others feeling better and more balanced as well as recovering from injuries quicker. I did a lot of cross country long distance running when I was younger but after having suffering from an achilles injury which stopped me from running for quite some time, I became interested in the benefits and advantages of massage therapy and decided to qualify in Anatomy & Physiology and Holistic Massage Therapy. I enjoyed it so much so went on to further qualify in Sports & Remedial Massage. With a BTEC 5 qualification in Holistic-, Sports and Remedial Massage including Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage and have diplomas in Myofascial Dry Cupping and Kinesology Taping. I am a member of the professional organisation Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) and registred with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) approved as an Accredited Register by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA) for Health and Social Care, a body accountable to Parliment. All CNHC registrants have to meet UK wide standards of patient safety and service quality. I am fully insured and hold a First Aid Certificate.
I am constantly updating my skills and attend regular workshops and seminars.
I used to volunteer as a Massage Therapist at the Princess Alice Hospice in Esher, Surrey which I very much enjoyed. It was increadible to see how much the patients appreciated the massage.
